Description:

Western medical herbs in Chinese Medicine are gaining more and more importance, due to the availability of very good quality medicinal herbs and the great acceptance from the patient’s side. The well-structured and very practice-oriented approach of Integrative Chinese Medicine offers an excellent opportunity for therapists to give their patients the best of three fields: conventional medicine, Chinese medicine and phytopharmacology of western medical herbs. In this seminar, we will show you how PCOS can be treated with Integrative Chinese Medicine and western herbs.  One of the important consequences of PCOS is infertility. We will focus on the support of patients with PCOS before conception, as regulating the menstrual cycle in women with PCOS needs time.

Learning Objectives:

  • Learning the diagnostic criteria and therapies of PCOS in Conventional Medicine
  • Learning about the pathophysiology and principle of treatment of PCOS in Chinese Medicine
  • Understanding the Jeremy Ross system with the Four Imbalances and the Integrative Chinese Medicine with the use of western herbs
  • Learning about the treatment of PCOS with western herbs on the basis of a unique way of formula analysis
